If recent announcements from Microsoft are indeed true, the Xbox Scorpio is shaping up to be a gamers' dream come true. It has generated a lot of excitement and gamers can't wait to get their hands on this before it gets released in the Holidays of 2017.

According to Tweak Town, Microsoft Senior Global Product Marketing Director Aaron Greenberg confirmed that it is the most powerful console ever assembled. He adds Xbox Scorpio is all about giving gamers the best experience possible. It will also deliver 4K gaming to people who decide to play it right in their living rooms on their TV sets, which is something they have never experienced.

The Xbox Scorpio, according to Stuff, will have six teraflops of computing power which trumps the recently released PS4 Pro because that had only 4.2 teraflops. Gamers are certainly excited because it will also have 320GB/s memory bandwidth which is 320GB every second. That will make it one very fast game console. It is also slated to support Oculus Rift VR headset which would make the gaming experience even smoother.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer did say that the Xbox Scorpio was not made to rival the PS4 Pro. He says that they are aiming for it to become the most powerful console ever made and they are on the way to accomplishing that if all things go according to plan. It is indeed a monster though as it is built to run 4K like a beast.

One thing about the Xbox Scorpio is that it won't run all current Xbox One games at 1080p 60FPS. It would also be powered by 14 nm Polaris + Zen SoC for 4K gaming. It is also capable of 90 FPS in VR and could support external GPU.
