The Consumer Electronics Show or CES 2017 is again the venue for innovations in TV, cars, phones and tech gadgets by top brands like Samsung, Sony and Nvidia, showing off their latest technology and products. CES 2017 will also be the venue for Faraday to "unveil the future," which could pertain to its innovative electronic vehicle.

CES 2017 will be held in Las Vegas on January 5-8, 2017. Top brands like Samsung, Sony, Nvidia and Faraday topbill the most prestigious tech tradeshow, which occurs annually.

Although CES 2017 has never been the arena for smartphones innovations, the leading vendors like Samsung and Asus participate with the exception of Apple who do not do tradeshows like CES. Because CES occurs after Christmas where many smartphone vendors have already announced their flagship devices, CES 2017 may offer more of the spin-off devices like the LG G Flex or Xiaomi's US market phones that were revealed last year.

Observers say that CES 2017 is more of a TV tradeshow with Sony rumored to be featuring its very first OLED TV after collaborating with LG, with its OLED LG Display. OLED is now the byline of many tech geeks because it eliminates the need for backlight since each pixel can produce its own light, making the TV more energy-efficient and able to capture a truer black as compared with non-OLED TVs, Trusted Reviews has learned.

Nvidia is also rumored to bring its Android-powered Shield TV that will use Bluetooth low energy as compared to the traditional Wi-fi. Though not as awe-inspiring as the previous year's self-driving car, Nvidia brings to CES 2017 more information on its new Volta GPU architecture that rivals AMD's Zen "Summit Ridge" GPUs.

Samsung is confirmed to feature in CES 2017 its 850 Pro 4 TH solid State Device (SSD), which is a much improved version of the existing Evo model. The Pro enables higher read and write speeds including high endurance, but at a hefty price of more than $1,600 dollars, which is the current selling price of Evo. Asus, MSI, Gigabytes and Lenovo will also unveil their gaming notebooks that utilize the budget 10 series GPU, providing consumers with a full HD capability for a 10 series card that will not cost more than $1,260 dollars

As to Faraday's plans to "unveil the future," the company may feature its latest electric vehicle. This time, Faraday brings to CES 2017 not a concept car, but a real car for production, rivaling Elon Musk's Tesla Model 3 according to Inverse.
