It looks like Microsoft is leaning now on Intel's new Kaby Lake processors for its new hybrids including the rumored 4K display feature of Microsoft Surface Pro 5. This is the next iteration of Microsoft's Surface Pro Series, which are a 2-in-1 range of Windows 10 devices with high-end hardware, like Intel's full-fat Core i7 processors.

Though Microsoft's announcement strategy is sporadic, as described by Trustedreviews, it speculated that 'Surface Pro5' will come out in October next year packed with seriously powerful hardware. As another upgrade to its predecessor Surface Pro4, it seen to keep anyone from buying other high-end laptop or tablet, as rumors circulating that 'Surface Pro5' features a 4K/UHD display and will have a 3, 840 x 2, 560 pixels (3:2).

While it is speculated that Kaby Lake processors will be used for Surface Pro5, Trustedreviews reports that with it comes the capabilities to boost clock speed and faster clock speed changes. It will also have better graphics core to boot.

Other remarkable features would be the improvement of its Surface Pen, where the latest iteration of it features a top-mounted eraser, a customizable 'magic button', and the ability to launch Cortana remotely, however, with the new Surface Pro5, a possibility of an increase levels of pressure sensitivity on the Surface Pen is perceived.

On the other hand, Newseveryday reports that a longer battery life of 7 hours is also seen in Surface Pro5 as promised by Microsoft since 'Surface Pro4' is good for only 5 hours and 15 minutes on the video setting.

According to CNET, there could also be a potential inclusion of a USBC port added to the Pro 5, complementing the Pro 4's collection that includes a single USB 3.0 port, a Mini DisplayPort for video, a microSD card slot, and an audio jack.

All these in the new and exciting Surface Pro 5, which rumored to have a pricing of at $899 with an Inteli5 base model,the one with an i7 at $999, and $1,599 for an i7 Extreme, Newseveryday added.

Well, with specifications and features like Surface Pro 5, one could expect an expensive treat but a worthwhile one.
