Moreover, these same fans can expect the highly-anticipated game to release a single-player campaign as early as Summer of 2017.

It was recently reported that Gun Media has released a new trailer for "Friday the 13th: The Game" which features a new playable character, known to most fans as the iconic Tommy Jarvis, Gamerant has learned.

It was said that the developers were able to cater to their fans' request of bringing in the character into the highly-anticipated "Friday the 13th: The Game." Despite the game experiencing some set backs and delay, the source pointed out that this has given Gun Media some much needed time to polish the game even further.

Moreover, it was stated further that fans will get the chance to play the role of Tommy Jarvis in "Friday the 13th: The Game" by working alongside other camp counselors in an effort to endure the killing-spree of Jason, the renowned antagonist of the franchise.

The source also went on to describe the trailer for "Friday the 13th: The Game" by highlighting on Jarvis shouting out his famous line, "maggot head," which was popularized in the movie franchise.

In other news, fans have something to look forward to early next year as the developers of "Friday the 13th: The Game" have announced via their official Steam Community Hub page that they will be releasing the single-player campaign of the game in Summer 2017.

It was listed therein that the single-player campaign for "Friday the 13th: The Game" will include both offline bots and several missions inspired directly by the films.

"Friday the 13th: The Game" is a survival horror adventure video game that's expected to be released sometime in Spring 2017. The game is developed by Gun Media and IllFonic, wherein the former also serves as the title's publisher. Fans can expect the game to be released in all platforms, such as the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on Microsoft Windows.
