NIS America has announced that Grasshopper Manufacture's "The Silver Case" is going to be released on PS4 for North America on Apr. 18 and in Europe and Australia on Apr. 21. It will also be released as a digital download and physical form.
According to Destructoid, there is a collector's edition of "The Silver Case" that's available on NIS America's European online store. It has a lot of features including an OST CD, an art book, a manga and of course, a copy of the game. There is no word on the price tag of the collector's edition but it is expected to be more expensive than the PS4 version.
"The Silver Case", according to Video Gamer, sees players taking control of a member of the Special Forces Unit Republic. Their mission is to investigate a series of serial murders in Japan. Everything happens from a first-person perspective and is inspired by various adventure games.
According to CG Mag Online, "The Silver Case" hit Western audiences at $19.99 and the Deluxe Edition having a price tag of $29.99. The PS4 prices are heavier as Gamestop has it at $29.99 and Amazon has it at the same price. This means that consumers would save more money when they invest in the PC version but they would get more quality when they purchase the PS4 copy.
Suda51's "The Silver Case" announcement on Playstation 4 arrived at the same time with the release of Let It Die, which is its free action game. Let It Die has been praised by critics for its stylistic creativity and gameplay, which is a theme throughout the career of Suda51.
With the "The Silver Case" release date announcement, Suda51 is expecting 2017 to be a big year for them in the West.
