Since the time of the original Kickstarter campaign in 2013, the space adventure video game, "Elite: Dangerous," is said to roll out to PlayStation 4. The only thing missing was the video game's release window. Nonetheless, video game developer Frontier Developments posted a fair warning that the video game would launch on PS4 in the second quarter of 2017, and the game will also make full use of the PlayStation 4 Pro.

Other than the three-month window, Frontier CEO and Elite co-creator David Braben didn't share a lot of information regarding the space adventure video game. There's no word yet if the space adventure video game will run in 4k or the game will make use of the PlayStation VR headset.

In spite of that, Braben stated that he's thrilled to announce that "Elite: Dangerous" is coming to PS4. The space feature of the video game is there for the player to explore, and it depends on how the player chooses. A player can bounty-hunt, fight, assassinate, trade, mine and explore their way across human space and out into the immense galaxy beyond as they fly with their friends or a player can travel alone, according to Community Elite Dangerous.

In related news, Sony announced PlayStation 4's most updated number of sales, Sony's gaming system sold more than 50 million consoles by the current week. The sales number includes all the PS4 models, such as the original model, the slimmer PlayStation version and the latest PS4 Pro.

The global CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Andrew House, stated that they are delighted that the PS4 community continues to flourish since the console was launched three years ago. The company also claimed that they have the best Black Friday sales in the PlayStation history. Nonetheless, the sales of the PS4 may be driven by the latest PlayStation VR headset, CNET reported.
