The "Justice League" movie is set for release next year with all the main DC heroes assembling for a live action spectacle. But there are hundreds of other heroes in the DC universe, which are featured in "Justice League Unlimited." Now, the question is will be a live action adaptation of the Cartoon Network show.

Over 100 other superheroes are in the American cartoon series "Justice League Unlimited," and a movie about it could easily have a fighting chance against Marvel's successful movie franchises, Movie News Guide reported. It could also bring the DC movie universe farther ahead.

JLU Movie Could Include New Heroes

According to reports, a "Justice League Unlimited" movie franchise is the best plan of attack for DC Extended Universe these days. That's because they can bring in more heroes, such as the Green Arrow, Doctor Fate, Blue Beetle, Atom, and Booster Gold.

The animated series has several new and old characters playing in different and very varied teams and the "Justice League Unlimited" movie franchise can do the same. This way, the franchise could bring as many DC heroes as possible in the scene.

Enough with the sequels

Another suggestion is to let go of sequels and create stand alone movies with popular heroes and villains just popping up as extra characters or even cameos, Forbes reported.

If 2017's "Justice League" movie and "Wonder Woman" movie turns into box-office success, it would be because of the superheroes themselves, not the arc. Fans just want to see their favorite comic book or animated heroes come to life in the big screen. Fans don't really care about the Superman or Justice League movies' narrative arcs and all that useless stuff. What they really care is the fireworks.

The 2016 DC movie "Batman V. Superman" was a mega success in the cinemas because fans got what they want, which is to see two of their favorite DC superheroes beat each other in a godly battle. On the other hand, the movie "Suicide Squad" was a hit because fans want to see Harley Quinn, Joker, Dead Shot, and a bunch of other villains come together.

Warner Bros. can create stand alone DC superhero movies with a appearances from some of the most popular characters. According to reports, this could work for the fans and the DCEU.
