"Space Hulk: Deathwing" gets a new release date for PC through Steam. Players who pre-ordered the video game will get 15 percent off on the Steam platform.

According to the official website of Steam, game developer Streum On Studio and publisher Focus Home Interactive announced that "Space Hulk: Deathwing" will be delayed a couple of days. This time around, the video game will now be released on PC through Steam on Dec. 14. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release date will still remain at 2017.

The game developer explained the delay of "Space Hulk: Deathwing" on the PC. They wanted to provide the best possible experience at launch. To do this, they wanted more time to make final adjustments and work on final optimizations on it.
The delay was the result of the closed technical beta test recently, which consisted of a lot of players playing and giving feedback about the game. During the beta phase, a lot of technical points were raised, which made the developers decide on the delay and work hard at the last minute.

Some of the last minute fixes done for "Space Hulk: Deathwing" are drastic improvements in the loading times, optimization of general performance, and improvement of the interface and menu elements. It also included sound-design changes like character voices, and the fix of a lot of bugs and nearly all crashes that happen in the beta phase.

According to the official website of "Space Hulk: Deathwing," the pre-orders of the video game on Steam are now available. For the players who want to pre-order, they will get a 15 percent discount off of the original price. They will also get a bonus in-game weapon, which is the Lost Mace of Corswain.
