The all-female led movie, "Ocean's 8" is set to feature "Homeland" star Damian Lewis as the main bad guy. Despite having an all-female protagonist cast, the film decided to cast a male as its antagonist.

According to Game Spot, Lewis is best known for his role as Nicholas Brody in "Homeland" where he won two Golden Globe awards. He also starred in "Life" as Charlie Crews and "Billions" as Bobby Axelrod. He is expected to embrace the biggest role in his career in "Ocean's 8."

It isn't the first time he has landed a major role in a movie as he also played the role of Dan Murphy in "The Situation," Norman Harris in "Nyfes" and Milo 'The Baker' Shakespeare in "The Baker." He is one actor who is used to serious roles and he is expected to tackle another one in "Ocean's 8."

Matt Damon has confirmed that he has a role in "Ocean's 8" possibly to reprise his Linus Caldwell character. However, it has not been revealed if he will play a major role in the movie or just a small cameo.

"Ocean's 8" is a spinoff from the popular Ocean's series starring George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. The first movie of the series, "Ocean's 11" garnered $450 million worldwide back in 2001. The two sequels, "Ocean's 12" and "Ocean's 13" were not quite as successful, but they were good enough to make the franchise reach more than $1.1 billion at the box office alone.

"Ocean's 8", according to the Independent, sees Sandra Bullock leading a group of thieves that attempt to pull off a major heist. Joining Bullock in the cast are Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, Helena Bonham Carter. The Gary Ross-directed film is currently shooting and is scheduled to hit theatres on June 8, 2018.
