‘Yo-kai Watch’ Movie 3 To Outperform ‘Star Wars’ Again? Fourth ‘Yo-kai Watch’ Film Planned For Winter 2017 [Video]

In December 2015, "Yo-kai Watch The Movie" was a box office hit in Japan. Being the number one film when it opened during the weekend "Yo-kai Watch" film made a Japanese record. The movie was also the highest-grossing film in Japan making $65 million outperforming "Star Wars". This record is a foolproof that Yo-kai had caught everyone's interest.
American fans of the Yo-kai watch were thrilled when the "Yo-kai Watch"" The Movie was released in US theaters with an English dub only for one day and the moviegoers were given Hovernyan medal. The movie was followed by the release of the "Yo-kai Watch" anime series "Whisper's Secret Past" and kids are getting obsessed of it.
Despite having the third film shown in Japan in few more days and the movie being shown recently in the US theaters, "Yo-kai Watch" staff had already announced the plans to release the Fourth "Yo-kai Watch" movie. According to Anime News Network, the fourth franchise will again be available in Winter of 2017. There were no details yet as to how the story will run or even the title but avid Yo-kai fans will certainly get excited to know that they will be able to see their favorite show again next year.
Fans will be seeing both live action and anime in the third franchise of the "Yo-kai Watch" film to which some are disappointed seeing some Yo-kai turn to 3D version unlike the human. Some fans are even pointing out that why not just change the Yo-kai to the realistic versions but overall, they see the movie as a brilliant creation.
