According to the official blog of PlayStation, the game developer Vicarious Visions clarified that "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" will not be just a remake, but it will be a remaster plus. Their first step in their plan to make a remaster plus of the video game was to truly understand what made it special. They also wanted to know why it is still loved by fans to this day.

To create the "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy," the game developers played all of the classic Crash games. They admit that they almost broke the controllers from just mashing the jump button too much. They studied the original concept art and commercials for their inspiration, which resulted in the latest update of the upcoming remaster plus.

"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" rebuilt from scratch

With the help of Vicarious Visions, "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" now contains gameplay that has been rebuilt from scratch. The developers also added their own layering of lush and zany art, animations, and audio.

"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" now has rebuilt levels from the original game series' geometry. They have also rebuilt the characters, but it follows the original designs, and the cinematics were also rebuilt, but inspired by the original ones.

"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" will feature new features, which will apply across all three games. These upcoming work-in-progress features are the unified checkpointing and save game system, the unified menu system, and the Time Trials in all three games.

According to the official website of PlayStation, "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" received a new trailer, which can be viewed below, that showcased all of its new details. The game will be released sometime in 2017 exclusively for the PlayStation 4, and it will cost $39.99.
