Excitement over the rumored iOS 10 jailbreak lessened due to uncertain release date announcement from Pangu itself.

Pangu has always been a known Chinese hacking team which never failed to give many Apple fans great alternatives for free on the latter's shortcomings on their devices; however, many tech savvies are getting frustrated about the iOS 10 jailbreak since no updates yet from the hacking team has been released.

Previously, there were rumors that the jailbreak will be released right after Apple's launch of iOS 10.2. Neurogadget, however, reported that there is no assurance whether Pangu will really release the jailbreak since the Chinese hacking group is still mum about it.

Phone Arena also reported that aside from compatibility and security issues, iOS 10.1.1 also has battery capacity issues like shutting down once battery is at its thirty percent. These issues as well as the convenience of having iOS 10 jailbreak seem to be enough reasons for the people to patiently wait for Pangu to make their official announcement.

The rumor was also enough to alarm Apple and make it proceed to an alternative to keep their hackers at bay. Reports suggest that due to the jailbreak rumor, the tech giant was forced to release two updates within seven days. It can be remembered that Apple released the iOS 10.2 beta version last week, just a few days after their last update. Accordingly, the features and designs are made more realistic in this new version.

Apple Insider further shared that iOS 10.2 will have a single sign-on support for streaming TV upon its release. This will enable cable/satellite subscribers to access channels across multiple apps without constantly re-authenticating.
