Developers from this weekend's TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon at the Copper Box Arena in London built Marauder's Map inspired apps that has Harry Potter fans go crazy. Developers using APIs like IBM's Watson, PubNub, Mapbox, and ESRI created Marauder's Map-like games. Potter fans can finally say they solemnly swear that they are up to no good even beyond the walls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Marauders Tech

First in the list is Marauders Tech, which is a game app that turns the whole world into a scavenger hunt, Tech Crunch reported. It makes the user search ingredients in their area to create potions and spells. This Marauder's Map-like game is like Pokemon Go and Niantic's Ingress where they can do the searching in real time and compete with their friends.

Speaking of Pokemon Go and Marauder's Map, the makers of the highly successful online monster catching game will make their own version of Harry Potter Go set for release in 2017, Entertainment Weekly reported. The Niantic game is called "Fantastic Beast: Cases from the Wizarding World."

Marauder's Map

Think of a real Marauder's Map, where users can see where their friends are in the map and leave them messages. One developer in the event created a real Marauder's Map for Potter Fans, and they called this app Marauder's Map. The name couldn't be more appropriate.

Maurauder's Battle

Another amazing Marauder's Map-inspired app is the Maurauder's Battlle, which lets users look for wizards or would-be wizards in the map. They can challenge these users by flicking their phones, which serves as their magic wands.

Marauder's Magic

This app starts out as a blank page, where the user has to say "I solemnly swear I am up to no good." After that a map will appear and the player has to go to certain areas and say spells out loud. This Marauder's Map-inspired game is a less social game.

Marauder's Tour

This Marauder's Map-inspired app is good for teachers as it allows to track people during a field tour. It also involves fun activity.
