Xbox Project Scorpio Release Date, Price, Specs: Xbox Project Scorpio Is Way More Powerful Than PlayStation 4 Pro [VIDEO]
ByPlayStation 4 is considered by some game enthusiast as the most powerful gaming system. However, Microsoft announced a new Xbox Project Scorpio that will grab Playstation 4's title.
Xbox Project Scorpio is speculated to roll out in about a year from now. Gamers are extremely excited about Microsoft's upcoming console for a couple of reasons. One thing of it is that the tech giant's latest console is way more powerful compared to the PlayStation 4 Pro.
The 4K capability and high specs of Xbox Project Scorpio have proven the title. A developer claimed that Xbox Scorpio will dominate the gaming world with its performance of 4K at 60fps, wherein the console's feature will give an edge over the PS4 Pro's performance, according to MobiPicker.
Microsoft's forthcoming gaming system is said to be five times more powerful than the current Xbox One version. The Xbox Project Scorpio's ability of rendering visual details at 60 Hz will lead to a gamer's smoother and better gaming experience, and the gaming system is expected to cut off lags when played on TV screens.
On the contrary, Games Farm CEO Peter Nagy pointed out that an assessment of an Xbox Project Scorpio's power is not solely based on the console's GPU. While the Xbox Project Scorpio will be launched in late 2017, the 6 teraflops graphical processing power of the gaming system may no longer be impressive by then. Furthermore, a stronger gaming system does not get in line with better games, unless gameplay improvements are allowed, Gaming Bolt reported.
That being said, Xbox Project Scorpio is expected to equip a memory bandwidth of 320 GB/s and 8 CPU cores. Xbox Scorpio might just come along with a VR headset. The gaming system is said to be compatible with all Xbox One games and accessories
Microsoft's Xbox Project Scorpio gaming system is slated to be launched in the holiday season of 2017, with a speculated price of $800.
