Sega released on December 1 two new "Yakuza 6" TV commercials in Japan; both have scenes showing an angry Takeshi Kitano. The PS4 game, called "Yakuza 6: The Song of Life" seem to be capitalizing on Kitano being one of the Yakuza Boss, since the actor/director is a legend in Japan.

TV Commercial Features Takeshi Kitano

The first TV commercial of the game shows the story of Kazuma Kiryu, who moved from Kamurocho in Tokyo to Onomichi Kingaicho in the Hiroshima Prefecture. Both of these locations are fictional. He sets on a journey the new place to discover what really happened with Haruka, Dual Shocker reported.

The second commercial shows most of the new characters of the game. It also shows the original main characters Kazuma Kriyu and Haruka, who are mainstays in the game since the first instalment. Takeshi Kitano's Toru Hirose is a local Yakuza boss in the game, and is emphasized in both commercials.

Takeshi Kitano's Significance

Takeshi who is more popularly known in Japan as Beat Kitano is a comedian and TV personality. But overseas, he is known more for the movies he has directed and starred in, like "Sonatine" and "Hana-bi." A lot of his films features the underground world of the Yakuza, where usually are starred by himself.

Kitano being featured in Yakuza 6 easily brings the game into a whole new level.

Yakuza Exclusive on PS4

Yakuza 6 is set for release exclusively on PS4 in Japan soon, Gaming Bolt reported. It looks amazing in PS4 as seen in a gameplay footage in Youtube that lasts for two hours and thirty minutes. The video shows the first part of the game's chapter one.

The earlier "Yakuza" game installments were only available for PS3, PS Vita, and PSP. Now that the game is on PS4, it is not limited by the earlier versions of the console. Because of that, it looks way better than its predecessors.
