Fans of the highly-acclaimed franchise, "Warhammer," originally conceived as a tabletop wargame created by Games Workshop, are thrilled to hear the latest news and update about its first-person shooter video game iteration, "Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide," receiving an update sometime soon. It was reported that the game will be receiving new content as the Karak Azgaraz DLC rolls out soon.

It was recently reported that Fatshark's acclaimed "Warhammer End Times - Vermintide," which was launched back in October 2015 and set in the "Warhammer Fantasy" universe, will be receiving the Karak Azgaraz DLC this coming Dec. 14, Dual Shockers has learned.

However, it was stated that the upcoming downloadable content will only be released for the PC version as of the moment. As for fans who are playing on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, the developer has stated that they will be updating them soon regarding the announcements for the DLC's release date on their respective platforms.

It was also mentioned by the source that patch 1.5 (Karak Azgaraz DLC) is currently in open beta until Dec. 4, available for fans to test out. The open beta will be featuring one out of the three levels that are included in the upcoming Karak Azgaraz DLC coming this December.

In addition, Fatshark's CEO, Martin Wahlund, has also released a statement alongside their announcements for the open beta of the upcoming DLC. Whalund stated therein that all of them from Fatshark are thankful and greatful for the continuous support that their fans have given to "Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide."

As such, he also mentioned that fans can expect Ubersreik to be a lot busier once the upcoming Karak Azgaraz DLC rolls out.

With this, it was also mentioned that fans can expect two new weapons in the upcoming patch 1.5, Eurogamer reported. The DLC will feature both the Warpick for Dwarf Ranger, and the Falchion for Victor Saltzpyre.

In the meantime, fans can take a look at what they can expect when Karak Azgaraz comes online in the following weeks with the trailer for patch 1.5 being released by Fatshark.
