"Teen Wolf" star Dylan O'Brien was recently seen shooting action scenes for upcoming movie "American Assassin" after suffering an injury while preparing the third installment of "Maze Runner" earlier this year. Now that he has healed, production is expected to resume for "Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" sometime in February of 2017.
According to Deadline, production for "Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" was postponed last Mar. 17 because star Dylan O' Brien got seriously injured while filming the movie. His fans and co-stars were concerned about his condition so it was a good sign that he is back on the set. Production was supposed to resume last May 9 but was moved again in order to give more time for O'Brien to recover.
Much to the dismay of "Maze Runner" fans, the release date of the third installment in the movie series got pushed back from February 17, 2017 to January 12, 2018. Fans are very eager to witness what happens in the latest instalment of this series which features young actors trying to escape a maze full of surprises.
A video clip on MNR Daily showed Dylan O'Brien performing dangerous action stunts, not showing any effects of the accident he suffered earlier this year. The scenes he was shooting were for "American Assassin" though and reports say he has also committed to other projects.
