Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds recently revealed that he auditioned for a role in one of Joel and Ethan Coen's film, "Inside Llewyn Davis." It was bad, said Reynolds.

During an interview with Variety's Taraji P. Henson, Reynolds revealed the horrible audition, which he said didn't go very well, Variety reported. The interview was part of the "Actors on Actors" fifth season, which will be out on PBS SoCal January.

Coen Brothers Were Too High Class

The Deadpool said he auditioned for the Coen brothers, but failed. He said it was just not the right fit for him, because the acclaimed directors were very high class.

He recalled that the people during the audition were quietly shaking their heads. It was like they were asking what Reynolds was doing there, and does he even have a Screen Actors Guild card.

During the interview, Reynolds even got to a point where he said its funny what an actor thinks when someone gets the role they auditioned for and the actor who got it is actually quite perfect for that role.

Oscar Isaac Stars in Inside Lewyn Davis

Although Reynolds didn't specify which role he auditioned for, Oscar Isaac starred in the movie Inside Lewyn Davis, which is a story about a struggling musician.Oscar Isaac also starred in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" where he played the role of aircraft pilot Poe Dameron.

It would be an honor for any actor to land on a role for the Coen brothers for their critically acclaimed movies. Some of the best movies they made include "The Big Lebowski," "Fargo," "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and "No Country for Old Men."

Reynolds may not have landed the role for the Coen Brothers movie, he still made it big with Deadpool. He will reprise the role of the bad mouth superhero in the sequel.
