ByAndroid 7.0 Nougat update is officially coming to LG device.
Android 7.0 Nougat Update Rollout to LG Device
Sprint carrier has received the Nougat update notification a few weeks ago and now it is time for T-Mobile's LG G5 to get Android's latest firmware. The update requires 1.2 GB of space and users have to make sure their handset battery is 80 percent the least.
The update will reportedly bring Nougat features to LG G5 alongside Android Security Patch released on Nov. 1.
With that being said, LG G5 handset will receive much improvement including more battery-efficient, notification-order changes and multi-window screen. However, the device may not be compatible with Google Daydream VR, Android Police reported.
LG has been a speedy smartphone when it comes to firmware update as the V20 is the world's first device to run Nougat out of the box. Hence, it is no surprise that the latest Android OS arrives at G5 instead of the other phones.
