"Mass Effect: Andromeda" multiplayer feature will tie-in with the single player campaign, but with changes. There will be less hunkering in this multiplayer feature this time around.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" multiplayer tie-in with single player campaign

The Bioware developer team behind "Mass Effect: Andromeda" confirmed to Game Informer in a statement that the single player campaign will have a connection with the multiplayer feature of the video game. It will not be the same as "Dragon Age Inquisition" where the multiplayer mode had no effect on the players' campaign. The team clarified that it will not affect the campaign's ending like what happened to the third sequel of the game franchise.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" multiplayer effects in single player campaign

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" multiplayer will have several effects in the single player campaign, but it will not force players to play it, Bioware assured. These effects will benefit the player when they play the campaign after reaping the rewards from the multiplayer mission.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" multiplayer funds and pause menu option

In "Mass Effect: Andromeda" multiplayer, players who successfully completed a mission and obtained funds as a reward can bring it to the single player campaign. This will give them an advantage in purchasing new items that were too expensive to buy before. Another convenience for the players is that in the single player campaign, players can pause the game and choose the option to jump straight into the multiplayer feature.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will have less hunkering

In "Mass Effect: Andromeda" multiplayer, players will now have more offensive options to choose from than just doing defense all the time. This was a problem with the third sequel of the franchise, which made it difficult to play the multiplayer feature. This time around, the game will make sure to keep them on the move rather than keep hiding behind walls or cover.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" not like "Dragon Age Inquisition"

According to the official website of Reddit, a member pointed out that the cover of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" looks kind of similar with the cover of "Dragon Age Inquisition." Some members said that it might play the same with the other game and they are okay with that. The other members opposed the idea and wanted the upcoming game to have unique gameplay.
