Nokia Confirms Android Phone for 2017

The return of the Finnish phone maker company from the 90's is set to return in the smartphone industry in 2017. According to Forbes, Nokia and HMD have sealed a partnership and both will be appearing in the biggest annual smartphone festival World Mobile Congress to be held in Barcelona, Spain in February 2017 to unveil their latest flagship phones and tablets that runs on Google mobile operating system.

Nokia Android Phone 2017 spotted in Geekbench

Following the said confirmation from the Finnish manufacturing company, the two Android-powered Nokia phones were reportedly spotted from online database Geekbench namely D1C. According to Gadgets NDTV, back in August, the most anticipated Nokia 5320 is considered as the high-end device that is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which is an octa-core device clocked at 1.4 GHz coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB of RAM that is likely to run the latest Android 7.0 Nougat.

On the other hand, Gadgets NDTV added that D1C got the scores of 656 and 3120 for the single-core performance and multi-score performance, thus, leads to the conclusion that the device is probably mid-range one.

It can be recalled that Nokia has partnered with Microsoft for the Nokia Lumia Windows Phones back in 2014, which eventually became a flop. For this reason, rumors suggest that the partnership of Google and Nokia has broken the heart of Microsoft Corporation.

Furthermore, the presumed Android Nougat Nokia phones for 2017 impose a threat to Samsung and Apple. Though there is no further information as to the specs of the said devices, netizens speculate that the phones will be extraordinary.
