One month after "Gears of War 4" was launched in October, the electronic commerce company Amazon is selling the third-person shooter video game for $35. The discounted price is for the physical Xbox One version of the video game in Amazon's pre-Black Friday offer.

The "Gears of War 4" digital version would be up for grabs for $36 on Xbox Live as part of its Black Friday sale. Also given a hefty price cut on the e-commerce site and Best Buy is the action-adventure platform video game, "Recore."

"Recore," which was published by Microsoft, is now priced at $20 or half of the game's regular price of $40. The mark down of "Recore" and "Gears of War 4" is due to the reason that the video games are Xbox Play Anywhere titles for PC and Xbox. In which, the buyers of the digital version on one platform would give the purchaser access to the other, along with saves and progress, Game Spot reported.

On the other hand, in a performance review of "Gears of War 4" which is being compared to the Windows 10-only game that supports DX12 natively with seven video cards, the review attempted to track down which video card provides the best gaming experience at 4K, 1440p and 1080p resolutions. Wherein, the third-person shooter video game uses the Unreal Engine 4 that runs only in the DX12 API, which the player doesn't have the choice to use the game in DX11. Therefore, that feature of "Gears of War 4" makes the video game less compatible with older PCs, according to Hard OCP.

Anyway, "Gears of War 4" got its 1st Title Update on Nov. 1, which required downloads over 5 gigabyte. Nevertheless, the patch of the shooter video game appears not to have made any performance changes, it only comes along with a lot of gameplay fixes.
