The much anticipated "Empire Season 4" may have upped the ante after speculations arose that pop star Taylor Swift will appear in the upcoming season. It's nothing new for the hit TV musical to showcase big-named performers like Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blige. To have Swift in "Empire Season 4" would boost the all-women-power show even more, although it is yet to be announced what her role will be.

It is no coincidence that Taylor Swift will be the biggest start in "Empire Season 4" since she and 'Bad Blood' director Joseph Khan saw Serayah in Empire and wanted her to appear in the video. Serayah got ecstatic when she got the news and the rest was history.

"Empire" star Serayah previously made a cameo in the music video of Taylor Swift's hit single, 'Bad Blood' featuring Kendrick Lamar. She played the role of 'Dilemma' and the music video had a lot of action coming from the big name celebrities who were involved and they were dominantly female. The star studded list included Haylee Williams, Cindy Crawford, Hailee Stenfeld and Karlie Kloss.

Taylor Swift's arrival in the series definitely means the show is moving away from its male-dominated storyline in Season 3 where the female performers didn't have anything going on for them storyline-wise, except for Cookie. Her presence will certainly be felt since she is one of the biggest names in the music industry.

Empire has become one of the most successful TV musicals in recent years. It stars Terrence Howard, best known for his role as Col. Rhodes in 'Iron Man', as a multi-millionaire hip-hop mogul who must choose a successor between his three sons, Hakeem (Bryshere Gray), Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and Andre (Trai Beyers) for his big company. His wife Cookie Lyon (Taraji Henson) is always scheming around trying to reclaim the same thing.

There is much to look forward to in "Empire Season 4."
