"Star Wars: Battlefront" is reported to be released soon, after "Rogue One" hits the big screen. EA, in fact, plans to release the new "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC on Dec. 6.

The "Star Wars: Battlefront" fans are now excited for the upcoming VR element that will be introduced in the game. Those who purchased the game will also be able to download the new PlayStation VR exclusive DLC.

In addition, the new "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC will also put the players in charge of the X-Wing Starfighter and sit in the cockpit to fly it. Aside from taking control of the X-Wing, the players can also dive bomb the Death Star.

"Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC is also expected to include new characters and maps from the upcoming Rogue One movie. Meantime, the "Star Wars: Battlefront" is reportedly celebrating its first anniversary by offering special surprises for the fans. Also, the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Rogue One is also coming with new playable characters such as Jyn Erso, the protagonist with a dark past and Orson Krennic, who is part of the Imperial Army tasked to stop attempts of sabotaging the Death Star..

The sequel to "Star Wars: Battlefront" is set to release in the fall of 2017, as announced by Electronic Arts during a recent investor call. EA's chief financial officer, Blake Jorgensen revealed that the team at DICE is currently working hard to make the sequel genuine and engaging, Slash Gear reported.

Meanwhile, "Star Wars: Battlefront's" unofficial game entitled "Star Wars: Galaxy in Turmoil" may have likely been forced to shut down by EA. The said game is reported to have shared the similar core principles of the first FPS series, including the massive maps, the space battles and all the things the fans believe are lacking in DICE's modern version of the series.

However, reports indicate that the "Star Wars: Battlefront" unofficial game is still being developed without the licensed title, PC Games reported. Watch Star Wars Battlefront Death Star DLC Gameplay & Details
