Publishing giant Blizzard is rumored to be working on an "unannounced project that utilizes a robust first-person engine," according to Gaming Bolt. Is the company really working on a sequel to "Diablo 3?" The latest Diablo rumors suggest that Blizzard might be working on a new sequel, and some believe it could be "Diablo 4."

The job listings in the company's site hinting something new and that the company might be working on a special project. The listing suggests that Blizzard is looking for two lead software engineers, of course, with some experience in first-person games.

Reading further into the job descriptions, we see that the company is in great need of an engineer, one that knows how to develop a game engine, all starting from scratch. This might suggest that the unannounced project is right at the starting stage of the development process.

However, the job listings have come as a big puzzle for the gaming world. To date, "Overwatch" is the only first person game Blizzard has ever developed and released in the market. Many believe that Blizzard would not make any attempt or more expansion for the "Diablo" game series.

The third installment of the game has a disastrous launch, "Diablo 3" was fraught with problems and bugs. Gamers don't like it, they hated it. Right now, it's still unclear whether the job listings referred to is an expansion or sequel to "Overwatch" or some sort of unannounced project currently on the table. Other game series from Blizzard include the "StarCraft", "Hearthstone," "World of Warcraft," "StarCraft" and the "Heroes of the Storm."

This isn't the first time the developer have posted job listings for unannounced projects. Earlier this year, Blizzard has also made a job posting to lead its next Diablo project, and last year, it posted that it was looking for an art director for an unannounced project in the Diablo series.

Given to what the crowd has heard recently from BlizzCon about a remake of the original Diablo within "Diablo 3" game, this doesn't necessarily mean that the gaming industry will expect something new from Blizzard or some sort of "Diablo 4" announcement.
