"Constantine" might find a new home for a second season at CW Network after its sister network, NBC, cancelled the show after one season.

The rumor mill has started to turn when CW Network began showing several episodes of the American supernatural drama's first season last year.

Fans of the TV series saw that in "Constantine" Season 1, a major cliffhanger took place in the end when an angel named Manny stabbed John Constantine on the back, which left fans in shock. John Constantine is currently played by Welsh actor Matt Ryan. Unfortunately, it is still not known which direction the show will take after that development since NBC decided to cancel the show after just one season.

Since "Constantine" is based on a DC comic of the same name, there is a huge possibility that it gets shown on the CW Network because there are 5 other DC Comics inspired TV series shown there like "The Flash", "Arrow", "Legends of Tomorrow" and "iZombie." There is certainly room for more and this show would be an ice addition to the lineup because it has a huge fan base.

If it does make its way to the CW, it is expected to take the timeslot of "The Vampire Diaries" since it is currently on its 8th and final season. However, they also face some sort of competition in the form of "iZombie" which also wants the timeslot that will soon be vacated by "The Vampire Diaries."

Warner Bros has already released "Constantine" Season 1 on DVD and Blu-Ray so this triggered fans to assume Season 2 is definitely in the works. Even after "Constantine" got cancelled, the character still made a cameo appearance in "Arrow" and reports say the character will make a couple more appearances in "Legends of Tomorrow."
