Despite all the efforts by stars Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter, Disney has not decided whether "Girl Meets World" will have a season 4. The two stars recently went to Twitter to urge their fans to support getting the series renewed for another season.
The last episode of "Girl Meets World" Season 3 titled, "Girl Meets Goodbye," which means Disney is hinting towards season 3 being the final season of the hit TV series. As fans of the series know, the titles of the episodes preview what is going to happen in the episode but don't exactly spoil the entire thing.
Fans of "Girl Meets World" have used the hashtag #GirlMeetsWorldSeason4 on Twitter and the cast and crew of the hit TV series have appreciated all of their efforts as they reached out on the social media site to thank them. Lead stars Rowan Blanchard plays the role of Riley Matthews while Sabrina Carpenter plays a character named Maya Hart.
Fans said it is wrong to end the series just because the stars have already grown up because the show has touched their lives by giving them actual life lessons. One of the reasons Disney is intent on cancelling the 4th season is because they can't continue a mature storyline on the show in a channel whose target audience are mainly kids.
There has been no indication whether or not Disney will give in to what their fans want about another season for "Girl Meets World." Some fans are even asking the makers of the show to switch to another network that isn't focused on catering to kids too much. They already signed an online petition that has close to 51000 signatures but there have been no statements coming from Disney regarding this matter.
