The tech manufacturer HP had launched its HP Elite X3 last year, but the “Windows Phone” handset didn’t get enough hype from phone consumers.

HP Elite X3,” HP’s latest device, has a 5.96-inch AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 4. The handset runs with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with 2.15GHz along with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM.

The latest HP Elite X3 also features a 15-megapixel real camera with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera shooter. While the handset is mainly designed for business, it comes with a lot of security features as well as the HP Workspace features.

The smartphone is mainly supported with a Windows 10 feature, but due to its hefty price and some flawed features, fans gave a trifling response with the handset.

However, HP is not giving up with a Window platform as the tech company is rumored to launch another “HP Windows Phone” handset. The information is detailed that the company will team up with Microsoft in releasing a customer-focused “Windows Phone” that might probably be launched shortly after this year.

According to Phone Arena, the Microsoft is set to provide the HP with the technology that are featured in the Lumia devices and smartphones. Some of which features are like Glance, Clear Black display, and double Tap to wake functionality.

The “HP Windows Phone” handset is also anticipated to use the advanced camera and high resolution display.

Of course, Microsoft has not commented or confirmed any of these anticipations. Yet some reports have already said that the Microsoft has already revealed a new Windows 10 mobile handset exclusively in Redmond.

The new device is expected to be launched in February 2017.

Whether this news is true or not, the big question is whether the fans and consumers are still interested in purchasing a “Windows Mobile Phone” considering the high competition and demand among Android and iOS handsets.
