A Baltimore teacher lost her job the day after she was caught on video calling her black students a racial slur.
The unidentified science teacher at Baltimore's Harlem Park Elementary and Middle School was seen on video escorting a student outside of the classroom while she was screaming "Get out of my class!," She pushed him into the hallways and went back angrily to the rest of her students in the classroom.
In the same video, she also berated her other students who were mostly black saying that they "were going to be a bunch of broke-a-- n------ who get shot." The class reacted with shouting but she kept calling them "idiots" and "stupid."
The said video that was taken by one of the students was uploaded by a parent, Erica Gales Deminds, on Facebook Wednesday night where it was viewed 1million times.
"I see it and I'm floored!" she told the Daily News. "So I uploaded it and shared it with my family, didn't think it would go as far as it went."
The grainy 82 second clip was also published on social media Thursday by New York Daily News according to reporter Shaun King.
Schools CEO Sonja Santelises said at a news conference Thursday that "The behavior in that video was not about a teacher trying to regain control of the class."
The officials of the schools released a statement Thursday saying that the teacher was fired and that they do not tolerate that kind of behavior.
"At Baltimore City Public Schools, we are committed to creating positive and equitable learning environments in school communities where all members are welcome, supported, and valued," the statement read. "No form of discriminatory behavior of any kind is or will be tolerated."
