It looks like Gwyneth Paltrow's beef with Vanity Fair isn't dying down soon.
When the 41-year-old actress found out the magazine was planning on running a feature about her, she emailed many of her friends, saying: "If you are asked for quotes or comments, please decline," The Telegraph reports.
She is reportedly annoyed the magazine was looking into her friendship with Jeff Soffer, a Florida-based billionaire in an effort to expose her in a cheating scandal.
Vanity Fair is not backing down. Graydon Carter, editor of the magazine, confirmed that they have a "good writer" on the story, and it will definitely run.
According to a new report from Page Six, Vanity Fair is digging deep into the rumors surrounding this friendship.
Paltrow, who has two children with her husband, the Coldplay singer Chris Martin, is said to have become close to Soffer, 43, in 2008 when he reopened the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami. It has been reported that he flew her in for the party and she stayed at his home.
At the time, Paltrow and Martin were said to be on the rocks. Soffer married supermodel turned businesswoman Elle Macpherson, 49, earlier this year.
Vanity Fair's expose may also be looking into Paltrow's falling out with Madonna, who used to be one of her best friends.
Other topics that could be explored includes her marriage and her family, her media image, her diet, her career in the past few years and numerous other things which seem to remain touchy subjects for her.
Paltrow is an American actress, food writer and singer who got famous for her breakthrough role in the 1996 movie Emma. She would go on to win several awards including a Golden Globe and Oscar.
In April 2013, Paltrow was named People's "Most Beautiful Woman."
