Yesterday, Nov. 17, marked the 15th anniversary of the debut of the Justice League cartoon series on Cartoon Network. It is also the same date when Justice League the movie will be shown next year. This is why it is no surprise how Justice League is trending right now on social media.
The Justice League is a group of superheroes formed to fight evil. It is composed of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Aquaman. Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill reprise their roles as Batman and Superman respectively from the Batman vs. Superman movie. They are joined by Barry Allen as the Flash, Arthur Curry as Aquaman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
With the amount of big name superheroes in one movie, Justice League has become the most anticipated superhero movie of all time. Warner Bros also admitted it is one of the best movies coming from them and that just made their fans excited even more.
Batman vs Superman gave teasers for Justice League as Flash and Aquaman made cameos. It also ended with Batman and Wonder Woman saying they must get the group together.
Kevin Conrol, the voice of Batman for Justice League sent out a tweet that read "15 years ago Justice League premiered. Great cast, loved working with them, became good friends" along with a picture of the Justice League. The fact that November 17 landed on a Friday next year when Justice League hits cinemas and 15 years ago when it made its premiere on Cartoon Network is such a huge thing for fans.
While looking forward to the Justice League movie next year, it would be a great idea to watch back through the animated series. It was the same thing that paved the way for other series such as Teen Titans, Young Justice and of course the Justice League movies.
