Xbox boss Phil Spencer told Spanish-language video gaming portal, Levelup.com, that gamers should expect to see a higher price point for the Xbox Project Scorpio, considering that Microsoft is planning to roll out the device as a high-end product, according to Game Spot.

Spencer said that Xbox Scorpio will be a premium gaming system, and it will cost more than Xbox One S. Spencer also stated that they have not announced the price of Xbox Scorpio, even so, Spencer wants to ensure that the investment they are putting into the Scorpio fulfills the demands of the higher-end consumer, with that, the gaming system will obviously have a higher price.

Furthermore, while it is slated that Xbox Project Scorpio would roll out to be pricey, however, it seems like the comments of the Xbox head are just to prepare tech fans for the inevitable price of the upcoming console.
