Another leak on Weibo micro-blogging suggests that Samsung will launch its refreshed phablets, Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro in December.

Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro, C7 Pro tech specs

Galaxy C5 Pro is said to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 whilst the C7 Pro gets the higher series, Snapdragon 626.

Galaxy C5 is a 5.2 inch device that sports Snapdragon 617, as listed in GSM Arena. Hence, it is interesting to see whether the successor will come out larger than that. However, as far as the processor is concerned, the leap from 617 to 625 should affect the overall performance.

As for Galaxy C7, it is a 5.7-inch phablet that features Snapdragon 625. Thus, with a newer chipset series, it might not have any significant performance gain.

Samsung has released Galaxy C9 Pro with a whopping 6 GB RAM on board. It can be argued that the upcoming C5 Pro and C7 Pro could likely get a huge RAM as well.

Samsung Galaxy C family is the affordable flagships category below the A series and S series. If the refreshed smartphones will bring huge upgrades - such as bigger battery capacity, better design and more features - it will be a great alternative for Samsung faithful who want to opt for cheaper devices.
