Vivo V5 sports a 20MP front shooter with LED flash, filters and software enhancements. The V5 is priced at Rs. 17,980 in India. Additionally, the Oppo F1s only cost Rs. 17,990 and the Gionee S6s cost Rs. 17,999 with V5-like features. It is said that the three handsets sport metal bodies with 5.5. HD Display and 3,100 to 3,150mAh battery included.

Both the Vivo V5 and the Gionee S6s also feature LED flash while the Oppo F1s does not. The V5 also includes a Face Beauty mode 6.0 software. In comparison, the Gionee S6s includes the Face Beauty 3.0 software. The Oppo F1s has the Beautify 4.0 software included, Gadgets reported.

In terms of the camera, the Vivo V5 boasts a 20MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and a Moonlight Glow Flash. In contrast, the Oppo F1s only has a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. Moreover, the Gionee S6s has the lowest camera specs with 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash.

All three handsets feature a 13MP rear camera with LED flash. The Vivo V5 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow Funtouch OS 2.6 while the Oppo handset runs a lower Android 5.1 Lollipop Color OS 3.0. The Gionee smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow Amigo UI 3.2.

Meanwhile, the Vivo V5 is said to be the perfect selfie smartphone. The V5 also comes in two colors--the Space Grey and Crown Gold. The company also claims that the V5 is the world's first smartphone to feature a 20MP front camera sensor with its own selfie flash. The handset is already available for pre-orders from Nov. 16 to Nov. 25 and will go on sale afterwards, NDTV reported.

Vivo V5 is also said to be the company's first handset to debut in India. Moreover, the Vivo Chief Marketing Officer in Mumbai Vivek Zhang reportedly confirmed that a new model is slated to be launched in India soon. The Vivo V5 Plus is said to have dual front cameras. Watch the Vivo V5 launch here:
