GoPro Hero is said to qualify as the best sports camera streamlined into three notable action cameras. A recent review compared the Hero4 Black, Hero Session and Hero4 Silver. The Black is said to be the heaviest in size and specs while the Session is waterproof and the Session adds a 4K feature.

The GoPro Hero 4 Session is noted as the cheapest action camera among the three. On the other hand, the device also features the lowest specs. However, the camera does have 1440p video as well as an 8MP camera. Additionally, the Session is also said to be waterproof sans a case. However, the Session may not have 4K capabilities but is said to be the lightest.

In addition, The GoPro Hero 4 Black is said to feature 4K or UHD video capabilities. However, the Black is reportedly the heaviest but comes with a 12MP camera, Fast CoCreate reported. The device also packs an LCD touch screen for easier use and control. The device may need a case to be waterproof. However, Black has a touchscreen with improved video and photo quality than the Session.

Finally, the GoPro Hero 4 Silver is said to be comparable to the GoPro Hero Session in terms of specs. As a bonus, the device may be able to record 4K as well as 2.7K video resolutions. The Silver is also said to boast a more reliable 1080p.

In other news, the GoPro Hero 5 Black reportedly packs specs from its predecessors. The camera is waterproofed for up to 10m but may have a finicky touchscreen. On the other hand, the device features image stabilization and a vastly improved audio, Expert Reviews UK reported.

GoPro Hero 5 reportedly has more curved edges and a semi-rubberised body. Underwater sound quality is said to be improved with no vacuum-like sounds. The Hero 5 also comes with an all new 2in touchscreen similar to a smartphone for easy swiping, navigation and toggling features on and off. In the meantime, the physical buttons may still be accessible. Watch: GoPro HERO5 BLACK vs HERO5 SESSION vs HERO4 SILVER
