A new trailer for Underworld: Blood Wars was recently released and it shows Kate Beckinsdale's vampire warrior Selene doing what she does best and that is fight the Lycans. What else would she be doing right? After all, she is not someone who likes to be bored, she is someone who likes to fight. Underworld's 4th sequel follows the continuous battle between Selene's fang gang and werewolf Lycans with a few twists added to the mix.
The Lycans now have a new leader in Marius played by Tobias Menzies, and he vows to make them stronger than ever in order to finally take the vampires down. Judging by the looks of Marius in the trailer, it looks like he is going to challenge Selene and her bloodsucking friends like they have never gotten challenged before.
Theo James is back to reprise his role as David from the last movie and he helps Selene travel to an ice wall. If she does then she will eventually gain more abilities that will make her a better fighter. With the Lycans looking the most imposing than they ever had been, Selene knew she needed all the help she can get in order to overcome her foes.
Unfortunately, there is also a group of traitors in the Vampire faction so Selene also has to find out who they are and deal with them too. The movie opens in theatres on February 3 and Underworld fans will find out if Selene can handle both the Lycans and traitors from within.
Anne Foerster has already wrapped up directing the movie and this is the 9th movie/TV episode she is directing. The movie is expected to be the last in the Underworld series even though rumors of another sequel will certainly happen if it does well in the box office.
