Amazon has announced this morning that the top rating original series, "Goliath," is done on its first ten days. The series is produced by David E.Kelley.

The American web television series "Goliath" made its grand premiere on Oct. 14, with eight brand new episodes for its first season. Both the viewers and the critics highly acknowledged all the work put in it, and now, they have already started expecting the release of its second season, Deadline reported.

They clarified that although there is no official ratings data available for streaming series as well as a unified metrics for such shows, they do get occasional glimpses into how Internet series are doing when some of SVOD platforms release snippets of information. Although for sure that there are other qualified television series, the very first season of an American-made Amazon series, however, had a higher season completion rate in the course of ten days, Fabnewz reported.

There is no actual information on the number of viewers the series has drawn in its first 10 days, but Amazon appears pleased with the show's high mark for binge. A news that obviously screams for a second season renewal.

Written by David E. Kelley and Jonathan Shapiro, "Goliath" follows a down-and-out lawyer (Billy Bob Thornton) as he seeks redemption. His one shot depends on getting justice in a legal system where truth has become a commodity, and the scales of justice have never been more heavily weighed toward the rich and powerful.

"Goliath" also stars William Hurt, Olivia Thirlby, Maria Bello, Molly Parker, Nina Arianda, Tania Raymonde, Britain Dalton and Sarah Wynter. Working with Kelley and Shapiro on the series, are Executive Producers Ross Fineman and Larry Trilling.
