Microsoft Surface Phones 2017: Three New Size Variants with Features Like Samsung Galaxy S8, Apple iPhone 8 are Expected! [VIDEO]
ByMicrosoft is ready to take on rivals in 2017 as the windows-maker company is reportedly making a comeback to smartphone industry with their newest device called Surface Phone. It will surely be more exciting to know that Surface Phone is built with features similar to 2017 flagships Apple iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Microsoft Surface Phone Features & Specs
Microsoft is reportedly on the last stage of the development of Surface Phone, the windows-maker 2017 flagship smartphone that succeeds the unfortunate Nokia Lumia Windows phones. According to Windows Central, Corporate VP Panos Panay together with his team is currently working on Surface Phones which is reported to have undergone a "paradigm shift" to be able to deliver a "revolutionary Windows-based" smartphone.
Accordingly, Surface Phone is expected to be the turning point of Windows-based smartphones that will basically ditch out the towering success achieved by Android and iOS. For this reason, the 2017 flagship is expected to have the following features and possible specs: three new size variants, 8GB of RAM coupled with 512GB internal storage capacity, powered by Intel Kaby Lake, 20MP Carl Zeiss rear camera and fingerprint scanner embedded in an AMOLED screen display (1440 x 2560 resolution) which is similar to Apple iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8.
Furthermore, Surface Phone is also said to feature a physical design similar to iPhone 8 having bezel-free and curved-edge screen display. On the other hand, the phone is also presumed to include support for Surface Pen akin to Samsung Stylus support in Galaxy series phones.
Microsoft Surface Phone Release Date
Microsoft is rumored to release the Surface Phone as early as February 2017 during the Mobile World Congress, according to Learn Bonds. The windows-maker company is reported to have acquired a domain name called "surfacephone.com" which has further strengthened the rumors about the upcoming launching of Surface Phones.
