Blizzard recently announced that their hit team-based shooter game "Overwatch" is going to be free to play from Nov. 18-21.
Players out there, here is your chance to assemble your team! It will be free to play on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One during the said period.
Blizzard will give the access to Overwatch’s full list of 22 heroes during the free trial period, Polygon reported. Players will also be given access to 13 maps and some cool features like Quick Play, Custom Games, Loot Boxes and Weekly Brawls.
The full list of elite heroes includes Genji, Mccree, Pharah, Reaper, Soldier:76, Sombra, Tracer, Bastion, Hanzo, Junkrat, Mei, Torbjorn, Widowmaker, D.va, Reignhardt, Roadhog, Winston, Zarya, Ana, Lucio, Mercy, Symmetra, and Zenyatta.
There are four different game modes in "Overwatch" and they include Assault, Escort, Assault/Escort Hybrid and Cotrol.
The complete exciting maps are also available. It consists of Hanamura, Temple of Anubis, Volskaya Industries, Dorado, Route 66, Watchpoint: Gibraltar, Ilios, Lijiang Tower and Nepal.
For the new players who are interested to purchase the game, any advancements made during the free trial-period will be saved after the game purchase. Just make sure to use the same account you played on Battle.net, Xbox Live and Sony Entertainment.
According to Blizzard’s official website, the free-trial period will support 10 languages namely French, German, Castilian Spanish, Polish, Italian, Russian, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian. Portuguese and Japanese.
Twelve players can access all maps and modes in a 6v6 battle. However, no cross-console is available in "Overwatch" during the Free Weekend.
Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus members as well as users with a Battle.net account for Windows PC should be able to download and play it for free with no special sign-up or keys needed during the trial period. The approximate download size is 12GB.
According to Blizzard, the free period will begin on Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. PT (18:00 UTC) and end on Nov. 21 at 4:00 p.m. PT (23:00 UTC) in all gameplay regions.
There will be no downtime or maintenance for the three-day trial period.
