As KGI Analysts Ming-Chi Kou predicted, Apple will released three new iPads in 2017 and one of them is an iPad Pro 2. According to PC Advisor, the newest tablet is likely to have the following features: new size variant, faster screen for smoother zooming, better Apple Pencil support for Messages, Mail, Safari and other important apps.
In addition, iPad Pro 2 is also likely to have built with the following specs: A10X processor for faster performance coupled with iOS 11 and 256GB of internal storage capacity but no further details about the new tablet's memory capacity. Furthermore, rumors also suggest that a flexible AMOLED display is likely to land in iPad Pro 2; however, tech analysts predicted that the revolutionary and powerful display will come in new iPad Pros for 2018.

Previous reports have claimed that the new iPad Pro 2 will be launched by Apple during the October 27th event but the Cupertino giant remained tight-lipped about the new tablet during the entire event. For this matter, new speculation about its release date is pointing to March 2017 according to Know Your Mobile.
Another cited reason behind the March 2017 release date is the unveiling of Microsoft for their new device called Surface Pro 5 which is also rumored to take place in the first quarter of 2017. Surface Pro 5 is said to be the toughest rival of iPad Pro 2 because it will run the latest Windows operating system called Redstone OS alongside feature enhancements for the keyboard and support for rechargeable Surface Pen akin to Apple Pencil.
