It was last April when the American drama television series, "Limitless," ended its first season. With the second installment still under negotiations, recent reports claim that fans might finally see the series on Amazon.

It can be remembered that the show was confirmed to be cancelled by its network, CBS, which came directly from the executive producer of "Limitless" Craig Sweeney. However, despite of the cancellation, rumors have been loud that various networks are interested of giving the show a second season, such as Netflix, FX, and the recent one is Amazon.

According to iPost, rumors are loud that Amazon has the interest to renew "Limitless" for a second season run. The report also cited that although the network would want to give the show a chance, it is still skeptical about the concept of "Limitless," which is related to drug use. Sources say that the network is concerned about what viewers think, and that viewers might misinterpret that it is now supporting this type of drug.

The same publication also noted that "Limitless" might be currently in production, and is only seeking for a network to start airing. Although there is no confirmation about this, it is said that fans of the series are really hoping that the show will get renewed for a second installment.

On the other note, regardless of the fact that "Limitless" Season 2 is still not confirmed, rumor has it that Lady Gaga might be included in the second chapter of the series, Game N Guide reported. According to the same publication, since Lady Gaga is confirmed to star on Bradley Cooper's directorial debut "A Star is Born," this has sparked several speculations that the award winning singer/composer will have an appearance in "Limitless" Season 2. The publication did also note that Lady Gaga's entry might be Cooper's way to save the show or increase its chances of being acquired by interested networks such Netflix and Amazon.

As of the moment, there is no official statement that confirms the development of "Limitless" Season 2, or whether the show is now under production.
