It seems that the NBA rumors about the DeMarcus Cousins will not stop even if the NBA regular season has already started. The former Kentucky center is a regular in the rumor mill for the past few months and has already been linked to being traded to a number of NBA teams, including Boston, Chicago, Portland and Cleveland.

According to Yahoo Sports, "Boogie" is currently averaging 26.0 points with 8.4 rebounds in his last seven games this season.

According to the latest rumors, the Kings' center is now on the trading block and could part ways with the Sacramento Kings anytime. Stories are swirling around the web that the Portland Trail Blazers are reaching out to the Sacramento Kings, asking if the DeMarcus Cousins are available.

The Blazers still want more despite having an already aggressive front team. The team currently features one of the league's most explosive coming stars, which include Damian Lillard and other potential assets at its disposal.

As currently constructed, the team has a better chance to make it to the postseason, but ESPN's Marc Stein thinks Portland can still rock for more. He said the Portland Trail Blazers are one of the NBA teams intends to sign DeMarcus Cousins and that would be a big move before next year's February deadline.

The Portland Trail Blazers has entered the 2016-17 NBA season with the goal of winning first the Western Conference Finals and then the NBA championship title. The team has a strong combination of backcourt team. They still have Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, which said to remain as one of the best in the NBA league. The two have been very productive for their team, helping Portland to be competitive every game.

However, if Portland wants to go to the Western Conference Finals and compete against the likes of Cleveland Cavaliers or Golden State Warriors to win the NBA title, they should consider first boosting their frontcourt team and add a big man on it will always make sense.

As for the Sacramento Kings, the team has suffered another disappointing season, this time it's too hard. The King's endless struggle has already been pointed out to be the main reason why the big man has expressed his frustrations about his current team. With a strong team like the Portland, it will definitely bring him a positive vibe and a good chance to build his career, especially teaming up with the likes of Damian Lillard. This is a good start for the 26-years-old center.

Earlier reports said that an anonymous general manager was quoted saying that there is a "50-50" chance that the Sacramento Kings will trade DeMarcus Cousins before the February deadline.

Since DeMarcus Cousins is contracted only until the end of the 2017-18 season, the Kings have no choice but to trade the big center or risk diminishing his trade value.
