"Pokemon GO" Generation 2 and Ditto's upcoming arrival have been leaked. The information was obtained by data mining the latest "Pokemon GO" APK.
One Hundred New Pokemon Coming to Pokemon GO
Data miners were able to uncover at least 100 new Pokemon that will soon be made available to the game, according to the SilphRoad. Some of the Pokemon identified are Celebi and Chikorita. So far, only the names have been listed in the APK. It is believed that their moveset and appearance in the game will be triggered by a client side update. Pokemon GO will also have at least 52 new Pokemon Families including the Ho-Oh and Lugia.
Preparing For Ditto's Arrival To Pokemon GO
Ditto is coming to "Pokemon GO" but its moveset is quite tricky, according to the data miners. The only moveset for Ditto in the game is Struggle but recently another moveset has been added, "Transform." There are speculations that Transform is not exactly a moveset but an "occurrence" that will be activated automatically as soon as Ditto goes to battle. Interestingly, Transform is both an animation sequence and a Ditto moveset based on the APK.
Release Date For Pokemon Generation 2 & Ditto
So far, Niantic has yet to announce the release date for the 2nd generation of Pokemon and Ditto. Their movesets have yet to be uploaded to the game. This kind of update, however, will require both server and client update before the 2nd Pokemon generation can make their appearance in the game. It's really up to Niantic on when it will release them it. The update could be a few weeks from now or even months.
As for Ditto, a server update is all that's needed to activate Ditto's moveset, especially the Transform move. Many "Pokemon GO" observers see this as a positive sign that Niantic is certainly shaking things up that will certainly benefit its millions of players.
