Intel is expected to unveil the newest core Kaby Lake at the CES 2017 event, Forbes reported. The architecture is said to bring more improvements on a device. Starting from battery-efficient system to a fast performance desktop-class device, the Skylake successor is a much-awaited processor that will likely be shipped together with the 4K display Surface Pro 5 and Surface Book 2.

According to numerous reports, the latest Windows 10 update, Redstone 2, will be rolled out to the newest Microsoft Surface devices. The smart update will enable users to control devices and make them more connected to each other.

Redstone 2's roll out is speculated to happen in March 2017. This means that there will be no Surface Book 2 or Surface Pro 5 in the upcoming month until Microsoft kicks off Redstone 2.
