Samsung rolls out a new update to its 2016 Galaxy A5 smartphone. The update is currently firing up in Europe and weighs in at over 20MB, the update comes along with the October's Android security patch.

Although specific details of the update aren't mentioned, the change-log for the update made it known that the fix for a critical security flaw is also included. With OTA roll outs, it usually takes time for the update to hit a person's device. Even so, if a smartphone users feel impatient, they can manually check for the update by heading to their handset's Settings menu, according to GSM Arena.

On the other hand, the 2016 Samsung Galaxy A5 is the flagship device from the South Korean tech giant's Galaxy A series. While Samsung Galaxy J7, which is another flagship smartphone from Samsung J series. Wherein, tech fans are starting to compare the Samsung devices, as to which handset will best suit their needs.

Talking about the design of the devices, the Galaxy A5 2016 is much better compared to the Galaxy J7. The 2016 Galaxy A5 has a premium metal unibody design which appears to be so premium and the device is also easy to handle, while the Galaxy J7 smartphone is built from plastic, and the handset is a little bit cheaper compared to Galaxy A5. However, Samsung Galaxy J7's plus option has a removable back cover, Maritime News has learned.

Furthermore, even though both Galaxy A5 2016 and Galaxy J7 features Super AMOLED display, there's a bit difference in the display size of the smartphones. Galaxy J7 comes along with a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display, while Galaxy A5 2016 features a 5.2 inch Super AMOLED display. In spite of that, the 2016 Galaxy A5 wins the display competition for the reason that the A5 display is protected by Gorilla Glass 4.
