'Pokémon Go' Latest News & Update: Daily Bonuses Coming Soon; FastPokeMap, PidgeyFinder And PokeAlert Back Online [VIDEO]
ByNiantic Inc. and The Pokemon Company made it known that a new update will roll out to "Pokemon Go" that will add daily bonuses. The daily bonuses of the augmented reality game will get better each consecutive day, and players will find an easy way to score experience points, such as Stardust and additional items from PokéStop visits.
This new feature of "Pokemon Go" will grant players a bonus for completing certain daily activities. For those gamers who complete the same activity for seven consecutive days, they will rake in an even larger bonus, according to Pokemon Go.
In catching a Pokemon, a player will earn a 500 XP and 600 Stardust each day, and while a "Pokemon Go" player will be doing that for seven days in a row, that player will be granted 2,000 XP and 2,400 Stardust.
Meanwhile, if a "Pokemon Go" gamer spins the Photo Disc at a PokeStop each day, the gamer will earn a 500 XP plus additional items, and doing so for seven days, the gamer will get a 2,000 XP as well as a larger number of extra items.
Anyway, with the announcement only claiming the new feature will roll out soon, there's no word on exactly when the update will be available.
On the other hand, one of the most popular third-party Pokemon tracking app, FastPokeMap, has managed to resolve its issues and got back online. This was despite a series of shutdowns that forced the FastPokeMap to go offline for the last few days.
The return of FastPokeMap was well-appreciated by "Pokemon Go" fans, with numerous players applauding the game developer for managing to get the tracking service back on. In addition, the return of FastPokeMap also heralded the reinstatement of two third-party trackers, PidgeyFinder and PokeAlert, I4U News reported.
