"Dishonored 2" publisher Bethesda recently announced that the game has officially gone gold. Bethesda also announced the system requirements for the game that include at least NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB or an AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB GPU. In addition, the day-one patch was also detailed.

"Dishonored 2" game developer Arkane Studios reportedly first released a teaser to the imminent sequel back in 2011. While the sequel will reportedly be more demanding than the original, there is reportedly no need to upgrade to the controversial Windows 10. The game is said to support Windows 7 and its successors provided that it has 64-bit installed.

In terms of the hardware, "Dishonored 2" would require at least an Intel Core i5-2400 or an AMD FX-8320 with 8GB RAM. As mentioned, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB GPU is required. Players also need to upgrade to NVIDIA driver bundle version 375.70 or the AMD driver bundle 16.10.2 prior to installation as the game would take up 60GB of hard drive space which includes the day-one patch, Bit-tech.net reported.

For high resolution gaming, "Dishonored 2" will require an Intel Core i7-4770 or an AMD FX-8350 with 16GB RAM. Additionally, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB is required. Bethesda also announced that there will be no frame rate limits, field of view and multiple monitor support with the day-one patch.

Meanwhile, "Dishonored 2" is set to welcome the comeback of The Outsider, who offered his powers to the hero Corvo Attano in the original game. Robin Lord Taylor steals the spotlight as The Outsider in the sequel as seen in the trailer. Taylor was heard narrating the story from "Book of Karnaca," PC Gamer reported.

"Dishonored 2" players may reportedly not be affected by the change of character. However, players of the original game went online to discuss the inappropriate choice of actor that gave a more youthful take on The Outsider. The original actor Billy Lush reportedly went to Reddit to exclaim that he got axed from the game.
