'Halo 5: Guardians' Anniversary News & Update: 343 Industries Promises More Content In The Future Despite Lack Of Monthly Updates [VIDEO]

However, 343 Industries has announced that fans can still expect more from the game in the coming future, according to sources.
"Halo 5: Guardians" has received a multitude of updates, multiplayer maps, half a dozen game modes, and an array of new REQ (Requisition) items. However, recent news pointed out that the game developer has ceased to release their monthly updates, Gamespot learned.
It was reported by Gamespot that renowned tech-company, Microsoft, has confirmed the end of the monthly expansion releases for their acclaimed sci-fi shooter game, "Halo 5: Guardians."
Despite the startling news, they did assure fans that there's still more on the way, Gamespot noted. It was mentioned that while fans can expect more content in the future even if the developer has stopped churning out their monthly updates and larger updates with the likes of the "Warzone Firefight" release.
It was also noted by Gamespot that it would be a logical move for the game's developer, 343 Industries, to continue supporting "Halo 5: Guardians" with additional content, since the game's playerbase seems to continually grow. As stated, the developers are currently hard at work and that they will announce to fans regarding any news and update about the game.
This was recently affirmed when a blog post over at the game's official website detailed the anniversary of "Halo 5: Guardians" and the developer's plan of releasing more content for the game.
The post went on to detail the success of all the expansions and updates brought into the game. It also included that the current state of the game in terms of its competitive involvement in the Esports industry, wherein they have already held five tournaments in partnership with other Esports organization.
The blog post went on further in detail to discuss that 343 Industries is not yet done with the game. They are planning to include a new feature that would enable players to browse and join live custom games on both Windows 10 PC and Xbox One, improved spectator modes, new Forge canvases, server improvements, and many more.
As such, fans of "Halo 5: Guardians" can rest assure that there's still more to come from their favorite first-person shooter.
