It is highly likely for AMD to unveil RX 490 at CES 2017 alongside the Zen X370 - a high end CPU that supports AM4 platform, according to Mobipicker.
Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti specifications leaked
Nvidia is rumored to equip the GTX 1080 Ti system with beast performance. Starting from 3,328 CUDA cores to a base clock of 1,503 mHz - the card is a GP102 GPU cut down, according to Wccftech. The complete list of specs hints at a fast performance that would be VR-compatible too. Many reports suggest that Nvidia prepares GTX 1080 Ti to take on Vega-based card RX 490.

Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti release date
Leak after leak suggests that GTX 1080 Ti release date is approaching. A recent report claims that the graphics card will be introduced at the biggest consumer electronics event next year, CES 2017. CEO Jen-Hsun Huang himself will deliver the keynote speech and the reports seem to be consistent in stating that he will unveil the Pascal-based graphics card during the huge event.
