A Reddit user sees it all, as Lara Croft's next adventure title will be called "Shadow of The Tomb Raider". Here's why it may not be just a rumor.

"Shadow of The Tomb Raider" spotted on Montreal subway

A reddit user by the name of Tripleh280 spotted a passenger opening his laptop. On the screen, it says "Shadow of The Tomb Raider," IGN reported. It quickly garnered online attention as the user said that it wasn't a bad name for the third installment of "Tomb Raider."

This is a coincident leak since "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag," where a developer was seen working on the presentation in a public place.

"Shadow of The Tomb Raider" leak: What makes it so convincing?

For those who have not known yet, many huge game developers establish their offices in Montreal. A recent report suggests that the "Tomb Raider" installment will be developed by Eidos Montreal, instead of Crystal Dynamics who has helmed the games. It is still uncertain whether the two game makers are working together or Eidos is the one developing the game completely, Metro reported.

As of this moment, the title of Lara Croft's next game is still a rumor. While Square Enix remains mum, Tripleh280 spoke to Kotaku and said that the page on the laptop discussed something about visual. He quickly took a picture and only managed to read the title as everything else was blurry from his standpoint.

"Shadow of The Tomb Raider" release date

Many reports suggest that the upcoming "Tomb Raider" game will be released sometime in late 2017 or early 2018. As "Shadow of The Tomb Raider" has been leaked, it probably subjects to change as the development progresses.
